Joined Rashtriya Swayamsewak Singh in 1942 and organised its work in Alwar, Bharatpur, Kota, Bundi and Jhalawar District (Rajasthan) from1947 to 1951; Secretary, Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh (Karachi Branch), 1947. 

Journalist by profession. 

Detained under MISA in Bangalore Central Prison from June, 1975 to January 18 1977.
